There is a slight smell to my new Hip bottle. What should I do?

We recommend cleaning your Hip Bottle before first use to remove any new bottle smell.

To clean, either run it for one cycle in the dishwasher or fill it 3/4 the way with warm water and a tablespoon of baking soda, and let the contents sit for approximately 40 minutes to one hour. Hip is made from Tritn, which is BPA and BPS free so any new bottle taste or odor isn’t a sign of harmful chemicals.
